Taylah Brown
Osteopath
Taylah Brown
Taylah graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). Growing up in Leongatha, South Gippsland she relocated to Melbourne to pursue her dream of being an osteopath working as part of a multidisciplinary clinic.
Taylah’s passion for osteopathy stemmed from the various sporting injuries she has sustained throughout her professional netball career. These personal experiences as a patient have equipped her with a unique empathy for clients, a clear understanding of the patient journey, and the ability to empower individuals to take control of their rehabilitation.
During a treatment at Kinematics, Taylah utilises a combination of manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue work, myofascial release, joint manipulations and articulations. She complements these techniques with personalised take-home exercises and collaborates with the Kinematics team to create a comprehensive, active rehabilitation plan incorporating the Pilates studio and/or gym facilities. Taylah has a special interest in neck pain, low back pain, and the management of sports injuries.
Taylah currently plays in the Championship division of the Victorian Netball League for Boroondara Express. She has also played in multiple underage and open state and national representative teams and squads most recently representing Victorian Fury at the Australian Netball Championships as vice-captain.
When she’s not in the clinic or on the netball court, you’ll find Taylah at the gym, visiting family in regional Victoria or adventuring outdoors with a good coffee in hand.
Taylah is at Kinematics on Tuesday + Saturday.
