    What is Myotherapy?

    Myotherapy is the evidence-based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. Myotherapy can aid recovery, help avoid injury, provide pain relief and reduce the load imposed on joints due to soft tissue tension. At Kinematics, your treatment will be administered by an experienced clinical Myotherapist who will take a holistic approach to your issue(s) to ensure maximum improvement from every session.

    Myotherapy treatment techniques include:

    – Soft Tissue Therapy

    – Dry Needling

    – Deep Tissue Massage

    – Pregnancy Massage (pre + post natal)

    – Cupping

    – Joint mobilisation

    All initial Myotherapy appointments are 60 minutes and involve a full postural assessment, appropriate hands-on treatment and establishing a tailored rehabilitation plan. Follow up appointments vary between 30 to 60 minutes in duration and involve reassessment and hands-on treatment session to progress and ensure that your rehabilitation plan is on track.
