Our experienced Remedial Massage therapists utilise a variety of different treatment techniques to achieve the best results including deep tissue massage, cupping, dry needling and trigger point therapy

Our infrared sauna at Kinematics is a state-of-the-art, full spectrum cedar wood Clearlight sanctuary sauna. You’ll have private access to the sauna for the duration of your booking. Benefits include:

Benefits of Remedial Massage include improved muscle and joint range of motion, increased blood and lymphatic circulation, improved posture and physical performance, improved neuromuscular activation, quicker injury and sport recovery as well as reduced DOMS (Delayed onset muscle soreness) after exercise.
Regular saunas have to get much hotter than infrared saunas to give you the same benefits, because they heat the air first, which then indirectly heats the body by convection. By contrast, infrared saunas are heated by non-visible wavelengths of light (in the infrared part of the spectrum - hence the name). Infrared light penetrates deep into the body, heating tissues directly, rather than heating the air first. The air in an infrared sauna is also a lot drier, making it easier to breathe.
Initial appointments are 60 minutes and follow up appointments are 30, 45 or 60 minutes. All our appointments at Kinematics are twice the industry norm in duration, which allows us to provide you with the most comprehensive service. It generally also results in fewer follow up appointments being required to get your issue sorted.

Your initial appointment will involve individualised hands-on treatment utilising a variety of appropriate techniques including myofascial release, dry needling and cupping.
Please note that when you book your massage, your sauna is not automatically booked alongside this appointment. If you'd like to book your sauna prior or post your massage please leave a note in the 'comments' section of your booking and we will do our best to accomodate you.
