Physiotherapist + Pilates

Faith So

Faith graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and has built a strong foundation in private practice, supporting a wide range of clients and conditions. Originally from Hong Kong, she is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, allowing her to connect naturally with a diverse community of clients.

Faith’s passion for movement is shaped by her own athletic background. As a competitive swimmer throughout childhood and her teenage years, she gained first-hand experience with shoulder injuries, sparking her interest in helping others navigate similar challenges. She later discovered a love for running and has completed multiple half marathons, driving her strong interest in treating running-related injuries and supporting recreational athletes.

At Kinematics, Faith combines manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation to guide clients through each stage of recovery. Her approach includes soft tissue release, joint mobilisation, manipulation, dry needling, and evidence-based exercise prescription to restore mobility, build strength, and improve long-term function. She is also certified in Clinical Pilates and integrates Pilates principles into rehabilitation to help clients move better, feel stronger, and build sustainable resilience. Faith has completed further training in running gait analysis and running retraining, with additional special interests in the neck, shoulder, and hips.

Fuelled by the belief that movement is one of the most powerful tools for longevity and pain management, Faith empowers her clients to build confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they love.

Outside the clinic, she’s most likely out on a run, experimenting with new recipes, exploring local cafés, or at home with her two cats, Ollie and Toby.

Faith is at Kinematics Monday to Friday.
