Dr. Jim Webb
Dr. Jim Webb is a highly renown Physiotherapist, Osteopath, and Digestive Health Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience. His career began in the UK’s public health sector, where he quickly advanced to work with top-tier English Premier League football clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur. During his decade in professional football, Jim was part of the Chelsea medical team that celebrated victories in the FA Cup and UEFA European Cup.
Beyond football, Jim took on the role of lead Physiotherapist and Osteopath at the English Institute of Sport for the North East and North West regions. In this role, he supported elite athletes across disciplines such as British Cycling, Athletics, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Swimming, and Squash. His expertise contributed to the success of athletes who achieved Olympic medals in the 2008 and 2012 Games. Simultaneously, Jim provided consultancy for Sale Sharks Rugby Football Club, further diversifying his experience in high-performance sports medicine.
Before relocating to Melbourne, Jim spent a decade running Integrated Health Otago, his own clinic in New Zealand. During this time, he established a reputation for treating clients with complex, multi-system conditions. It was here that Jim first crossed paths with Pep and Rach, forging a connection through their shared dedication to integrative health care. His treatment approach, which combines manual therapies with nutritional guidance, has helped clients achieve significant functional improvements and enhanced quality of life.
Jim’s passion for education has been a constant throughout his career. He has taught manual therapies at both undergraduate and master’s levels at the University of Otago’s School of Physiotherapy. Now based in Melbourne, Jim looks forward to collaborating with local universities to advance his research in integrative practice and the management of complex patients.
As Head of Clinical Development at Kinematics, Jim balances managing a diverse caseload of clients with mentoring and collaborating with Kinematics practitioners, sharing his extensive expertise to continually elevate the clinic’s standard of care. He also leads regular professional development courses, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of evidence-based practices and techniques.
Whether you’re an elite athlete recovering from injury, someone striving to enhance performance, or an individual dealing with chronic pain or illness, Jim is dedicated to uncovering the root cause of your issues and delivering sustainable, transformative results.
When he’s not treating or mentoring, Jim enjoys life’s simple pleasures, such as running, biking, swimming, exploring Melbourne and immersing himself in nature.
Jim will be at Kinematics Monday to Friday starting from the 20th of January, 2025.
