Chris Ross Internship

Chris Ross Internship

Chris was the head of our K2 facility before devastatingly being diagnosed with MND in 2021. Not only was he a triple threat practitioner with an exceptional Physio, Pilates and Strength + Conditioning skillet, Chris also held great leadership and influence within our team.

Chris was the ultimate warrior in his battle and didn’t allow his diagnosis to keep him quiet. He gave everything he had to raise awareness and much needed funds for @fightmnd through his @beatthebest and @run4rossy initiatives. After one heck of a fight, Chris sadly passed away in August 2023.

To honour him and his legacy, we have launched the Chris Ross Internship. This internship will be awarded to one deserving allied health student or new graduate each year and will provide invaluable experience, mentoring and exposure within our multidisciplinary services at Kinematics.

The Chris Ross Internship includes:

  • 2x 1:1 mentoring sessions with a senior K practitioner.
  • 40 observational hours at Kinematics.

To apply, please send through your CV and cover letter to manager@kinematics.com.au outlining why you are a deserving recipient of this internship and how you intend to make a difference/impact in the allied health profession.

Please note, the Chris Ross Internship Applications for 2024 have now closed.

Student Learning Initiative

Student Learning Initiative

Are you a passionate allied health student looking for observational and mentoring opportunities? We are so excited to offer our exclusive Student Learning Initiative at Kinematics (SLIK). We frequently get asked to provide learning opportunities for eager up-and-coming practitioners, so we’ve established just the solution! Our SLIK program includes observational hours as well as 1:1 mentoring with our most senior Kinematics practitioners.

You will be exposed to the diverse service offerings we provide within our multi-disciplinary clinics at Kinematics, however we will also aim to cater to any particular areas of interest.

If our SLIK program sounds like the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to fast track your successful career in allied health, send us an email to info@kinematics.com.au to find out more.
