Osteopath

Michael Ioppolo

Michael is a passionate osteopath committed to enhancing the knowledge and skills of his clients, colleagues, and himself to inspire positive change in healthcare. Blending hands-on practice with education and movement, he focuses on addressing root causes to help people navigate their health with confidence. In addition to his broad expertise, Michael has completed additional training in dry needling and cupping, incorporating these techniques into his practice when appropriate.

Having faced his own health challenges, from fractures to an autoimmune condition, Michael brings both expertise and empathy to his practice. His firsthand experience balancing recovery, work, family, and well-being helps him connect with his clients.

Outside Kinematics, Michael is a sessional academic, where he teaches Anatomy and Physiology.

Above all, his most challenging (and entertaining) role is raising two high-energy young boys. Most of his time outside the clinic and the classroom is spent in a whirlwind of adventures with them—or cleaning up the chaos they leave in their wake.

When time allows, Michael enjoys a range of sports, including martial arts, gymnastics, and strength training. He also loves video games and tries to keep up with the latest in the Marvel cinematic universe. Long-term, he hopes to complete a Ph.D.—a goal he’s eager to tackle when the time is right.

Michael is at Kinematics on Monday, Friday + Saturday.
