Physiotherapist + Pilates

Jess Cogley

Jess completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University in 2017, followed by a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Monash University in 2021. She has since worked in private practice treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, sports and neurological conditions, and has extensive experience in Clinical Pilates.

Jess enjoys working with adolescents, active individuals and the general population, helping them recover from injury, build strength and return to the activities they love. She has a particular interest in lower-limb injuries, including hip and ankle conditions, and uses a combination of manual therapy, education and strength-based exercise rehabilitation to achieve lasting results.

With a background in professional dance training, Jess also has a special interest in dance physiotherapy. She provides pre-pointe assessments, pre-professional training assessments and performance support for dancers, helping them safely progress in their training while reducing injury risk.

At Kinematics, Jess delivers comprehensive physiotherapy and dance-specific assessments, including mobility, flexibility and strength testing, injury risk screening and evaluation of readiness for pointe work. She works closely with dancers and active individuals to improve movement quality, build strength and support long-term performance through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Jess is known for her warm, supportive approach and works closely with clients to help them move confidently and achieve their goals.

Outside of work, you’ll find Jess at the gym or a Pilates class, taking her dog Winnie to the beach, travelling, or exploring Melbourne’s foodie scene.

Jess is available at Kinematics on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
