General Manager

Rich Jeremiah

Rich is the General Manager at Kinematics, responsible for the day-to-day running of the business: the team, the culture, the systems, and the model of care that underpins every class and appointment.

He joined after a career spent building and leading teams inside some of Australia’s best-known technology companies, and more recently leading an award-winning health technology non-profit. Throughout his career, Rich has also developed extensive experience in leadership coaching and development, helping people grow into confident, capable leaders and build high-performing teams around them. Alongside that, he holds first-class honours degrees in both Commerce and Psychology from the University of Melbourne, a combination that shows up in the way he works. He is as interested in what helps people flourish as in what makes a business durable, and he has never accepted that a clinic has to trade one for the other.

Rich’s connection to the Kinematics mission is a personal one. He spent more than a decade competing nationally and internationally, first in track and field and then in road cycling. His running career ended the way too many do: a long run of injuries that resulted from a mixture of over-training and poor guidance. That experience is what fuels him now. He wants people to be able to get the care and support they need to be and to perform at their best, whether that be chasing a national title, playing freely with their children, or maintaining independence as they age.

His job, day to day, is to make Kinematics a place where exceptional practitioners can do their best work and want to stay for the long haul. A big part of that is developing great leaders across the business, giving them the clarity, coaching, honest feedback and support they need to bring out the best in their teams. Clear direction, strong culture, sound systems, and the room to treat people properly rather than quickly all underpin that.

Outside the clinic, Rich is a husband and a hands-on dad, still training most days, and usually either deep in a book on the science of human performance or outdoors with his family.
