Michael Morris

Michael is a qualified Osteopath and Strength and Conditioning Coach. He has completed both his Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in Melbourne, graduating with a Distinction average.

Michael has a fascination with anatomy, physiology, human movement, and biomechanics and loves to solve problems using a structural based osteopathic approach, in conjunct with his strong rehabilitation skills. Michael strives to keep learning and improving himself with any opportunity that arises.

Michael has experience working with athletes from multiple training modalities including mixed martial arts, bodybuilding, power lifting, brazilian jiujitsu, wrestling, and gymnastics. He specialises in the rehabilitation of sporting injuries, whatever the nature, and prides himself on getting his patients stronger and moving more functionally.

Michael is also the Osteopath for the North Melbourne Footy Club VFLW team, where he assists the doctor and Physio to diagnose, treat, and manage various acute sporting injuries. He has also taught clinical skills at Victoria University as a sessional tutor to the first year osteo students in 2021.

A versatile sportsman himself, Michael has played a variety of sports including soccer, football, gymnastics, bodybuilding, powerlifting and martial arts.
When he’s not at work, you’ll find Michael going to the gym or participating in freestyle wrestling and Brazilian jiujitsu. He also enjoys running around the tan, going out with friends, reading and talking about anything, coffee!
