Chris Ross

Chris is an elite soccer player turned Physiotherapist, Strength + Conditioning Coach and Pilates Instructor. It was his own experience as an elite athlete that ignited his love for all things sport science, performance and exercise rehabilitation.

Chris completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science in America while on a soccer scholarship and later finished his Masters in Strength and Conditioning back home in Australia. Motivated to get even better outcomes for his clients, Chris went on to complete further post graduate studies in Physiotherapy. To round everything off Chris has also completed continuing education in both Clinical Pilates and nutrition.

Over the years Chris has amassed a wealth of international experience working at the elite level in multiple sports and has extensive knowledge and experience in strength and conditioning, return to sport, lower limb injuries, low back pain and anything rehab related. Chris loves working with people from all different walks of life and uses his unique skillset to help clients achieve their goals and optimise their performance. Chris is currently the High Performance Manager for the Frankston Dolphins Football Club in the VFL and Physiotherapist for Melbourne Knights Soccer Club in the NPL.

Having travelled the world and lived in a number of different countries throughout his soccer career, Chris is happy to be settled back in Melbourne amongst the Kinematics crew.

Chris loves all things sport – especially his footy team Carlton! In his spare time he can be found at a sporting event, having a beer at the pub, out in nature, traveling or spending time with his family and partner Mimi. You can see Chris at both K1 and K2!
